Company expands customer care division to meet needs created by rapid growth and product innovation.
Schaumburg, IL. - February 22, 2013 – GN Otometrics, the world leader in hearing and balance diagnostic systems, announced today that it has hired Polly Benedict as inside sales and customer service manager. Benedict will oversee daily operations of customer service and inside sales, including staff management and training, lead generation, systems improvement and development, as well as providing support for marketing initiatives, particularly product launches. She will report directly to Dan McNulty, general manager of GN Otometrics North America.
“Polly is a consummate professional, with a wealth of experience and knowledge, who shares the Otometrics commitment to providing exceptional customer service,” said McNulty. “Her understanding of systems, business process improvement and training will provide essential support as the company continues to grow rapidly.”
Benedict has 20 years of experience in customer service and inside sales and has replaced Chris Beschta, who is now business operations manager at Audiology Systems Inc. Benedict joined Otometrics from Jessup Manufacturing Company, where she was customer relations manager. Her responsibilities there included management of the customer service, inside sales and administrative staff as well as developing and implementing best practices and standard operating procedures. Prior to that, she was a project manager with Molecular Diagnostics & Therapeutics, Inc., where she oversaw the marketing and sales of radio pharmaceuticals and radio chemicals for the nuclear chemistry industry. Benedict joined Molecular Diagnostics from Corporate Express, a Staples Company, where she was director, customer care training and development. While there, she developed the customer care training strategy and developed, implemented and monitored a phone quality tracking program for 28 call centers.
Benedict holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
