GN Otometrics Announces VNG/ENG Course in October

Chicago Course to be facilitated by Kamran Barin, Ph.D.

Schaumburg, ILL., September 13 2012 - GN Otometrics, the world leader in hearing and balance diagnostic systems, announced today that it is offering its second VNG/ENG course this year facilitated by renowned balance expert Kamran Barin,Ph.D. The course will be held in Chicago, on October 3-5 at the Allerton Hotel. The first two days of the course will focus on a comprehensive guide to VNG/ENG administration and interpretation. The third day will feature demonstration and hands-on VNG/ENG testing. The course is offered for up to 1.9 AAA/ASHA CEUs (intermediate level, professional area.)

Dr. Barin, assistant professor emeritus in the department of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and department of speech and hearing science, at Ohio State University, has served as an educational speaker on balance disorders, in conjunction with GN Otometrics, for 11 years. In that time, he has instructed more than 1,800 audiologists, physicians, physical therapists and technicians who perform and interpret balance disorder testing.

The course is intended for audiologists, technicians, physicians and other healthcare professionals who perform and interpret VNG/ENG tests.
