From the Editor - An Expanded Partnership

Share:

Dear Colleague,

I am pleased to announce that Audiology Online (AO) and The Hearing Journal (HJ) are launching an expanded partnership, bringing together the best in print and online for hearing healthcare. We have collaborated on several items over the past several years, including the annual dispensers' survey and an online version of the HJ archives. This expanded partnership focuses on two new features, a new HJ website and the printed AO e-Learning Monthly.

www.thehearingjournal.com
Take a look at the new HJ website using the address above, or clicking on the HJ logo on the home page of AO. One of the main features of the new website is an up-to-date article archive starting at the current issue of HJ and running all the way back to 1999. You can browse the archives by date or by topic area, or you can perform a keyword search to find information quickly. Additionally, the HJ website allows you to order / renew a subscription or place an ad in the HJ exchange. You may also want to look at a consumer information section developed by Dr. Richard Carmen.

e-Learning Monthly
Starting in August, the AO e-Learning Monthly (ELM) publication will be packaged with the printed version of The Hearing Journal. You will find an overview of the live, recorded and text-based courses that AO has to offer, including courses from our corporate partners. We literally have hundreds of courses available on our website at any time, so use the ELM to stay on top of what is new!

This new partnership brings together some great synergies that we hope in the end benefit you, our readers. Access to relevant and timely information is important to staying on top of the ever changing landscape of hearing healthcare. We feel that this expanded partnership helps you to do just that.

Contributing Editors: One last thing, I have to mention three outstanding new items this month from the AO Contributing Editors.

Please feel free to view the latest AO news and information links listed to the right of this email and as always, thanks for reading.

Best regards,

Paul Dybala, Ph.D. - Audiologist
President & Editor-in-Chief, Audiology Online

P.S. One other reminder. We just redesigned the Audiology Online website last month and if you have not had a chance, I would encourage you to take a look. More information can be found in last month's From the Editor.
