Trisha Yearwood and the Starkey Hearing Foundation have launched a new hearing awareness campaign to educate the general public in protecting their family and preserving their hearing. While hearing loss isn't reversible, most age or noise related loss can be managed and often compensated for. They strive to educate persons that any treatment starts with a hearing screening by a doctor or hearing professional. Once the nature and extent of the hearing loss is known, decisions about treatment may be made.
