WHO: Nina Poersch, a 51-year-old competitor on Survivor 2015 and Cochlear Implant recipient will share her inspirational story at the Hearing Loss Association of America’s (HLAA) National Convention in St. Louis.
WHAT: Founded in 1979, the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) opens the world of communication to people with hearing loss through information, education, support and advocacy. The annual HLAA convention is attended by advocates for the rights of people with hearing loss, and has an extensive network of chapters and state organizations across the country.
Nina’a remarks will be part of the presentation: Cochlear™ Hearing Implants – Innovations for a Lifetime of Better Hearing. She will share her own inspirational journey of hearing loss at age 44 and how she has gone on to encourage others to live by her motto: “Go for it, live it, experience it.”
