January 10, 2017 - The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) appointed Lise Hamlin to be the representative member and Barbara Kelley the alternate for HLAA on the FCC’s Disability Advisory Committee (DAC). The DAC was established to advise the Commission on communications access issues for individuals with disabilities.
A tentative date for the DAC’s first meeting of the new term is set for Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET at the FCC’s headquarters, 445 12th Street SW, Room TW-C305 (Commission Meeting Room), Washington, DC 20554. The meeting is open to the public and there will be a live webcast with open captioning for those unable to attend in person. Notice of this meeting will be published in the Federal Register and the minutes will be available for public inspection on the DAC website.
