Energizer® EZ Change™ Wins National Marketing Award

- Miniature Marketing Team Bests 1100 Entries To Earn Top Honors -

The highly successful Energizer EZ Change is making news again as the Gold Award winner of the 2002 National Mature Media Awards. The Energizer EZ Change marketing team won top honors in the category of Overall Total Marketing and Advertising Programs in Consumer Products for its marketing efforts to launch the world's first hearing aid battery dispenser. The National Mature Media Awards is the largest awards program in the country that honors the best in advertising, marketing and educational materials for older adults.

In addition to winning the Gold Award, the Energizer EZ Change won a Silver Award in the TV Advertising category for its "Docking" spot (there were no Gold award winners in this category). The marketing campaign to introduce the Energizer EZ Change was created by CheckMark Communications and included national television and print advertising, in-store merchandising, audiologist materials and public relations.

More than 1100 entries were reviewed in this year's National Mature Media Awards, which were submitted from the nation's best companies that specialize in marketing to seniors. These include Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly Clark, JWT Mature Marketing Group, Age Wave Impact and Senior Marketing Services. The winners were selected by a panel of judges from across the country who have years of experience in the mature market.
