ED Announces FY 2005 Personnel Preparation Grants Competitions

The U.S. Department of Education (ED) is currently inviting applications for FY 2005 grants awards which would provide funding opportunities for ASHA researchers in the following priority areas of personnel preparation:

  • Personnel Preparation to Improve Services and Results for Children With Disabilities-Preparation of Leadership Personnel; and

  • Personnel Preparation to Improve Services and Results for Children With Disabilities-Combined Priority for Personnel Preparation
The long awaited notices appeared in the March 25, 2005 Federal Register and can be found at www.access.gpo.gov/su_docs/fedreg/a050325c.html. The deadline for transmittal of applications for both competitions is May 9, 2005.
