Elkins Park, PA - Dr. Mitchell Scheiman has been named interim dean of research at Salus University. Salus University is an internationally recognized academic institution offering a wide range of graduate and professional degree and post-graduate residency programs for healthcare professionals. Dr. Scheiman is an outstanding researcher, educator and clinician- scholar who has served as the asssociate dean of Clinical Research and director of the University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry Pediatric/Binocular Vision programs. He has been recognized nationally for his leadership in binocular vision, serving with such groups as the Department of Defense Clinical Practice Consensus Steering Committee on Vision Pediatric Eye Doctor Investigator group.
