Tucson, AZ - Jane R. Madell, PhD, one of the nation's pre-eminent pediatric audiologists, has begun blogging at Hearinghealthmatters.org. In Hearing and Kids, Dr. Madell shares with audiologists and with the parents of pediatric patients a wealth of knowledge and experience derived from 30 years of treating children with hearing loss.
Dr. Madell is currently director of Pediatric Audiology Consulting in New York City. Previously, she was director of the Hearing and Learning Center and co-director of the Cochlear Implant Center at The Ear Institute, New York Eye and Ear infirmary/Beth Israel Medical Center. She was also Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
In addition to being an audiologist, she is a certified speech-language pathologist and LSLS auditory verbal therapist.

Jane Madell has published four books, and numerous book chapters and journal articles. She is a frequent presenter at professional and parent meetings.
