Designed for comfortable and discreet use, The Conversor consists of two components - an FM transmitter and a receiver. The compact, wireless Conversor transmitter can be pointed at the desired sound source by hand, or placed on a surface near the source for enhanced intelligibility up to 25 meters away. Users can focus on the sounds they want to hear by selecting their desired mode of hearing - whether directional for one-to-one conversations or omni-directional for group discussions. The lightweight receiver is worn on a pendant around the user's neck. Enhanced sound received from the transmitter is then sent to the hearing instrument through the instrument's "T-coil" setting. For users who do not wear a hearing instrument, The Conversor can be used with headphones, which are easily plugged into the receiver.
