Comfort Audio Launches a New Range of Digital Assistive Listening Devices

Share:

Comfort Digisystem is designed to deliver optimal sound quality in every given situation. The series of wireless digital ALDs uses new digital technologies to filter out noise and enhance speech before the sound reaches the hearing aid.

Comfort Audio's flexible ALDs are primarily designed for use in schools, workplaces and public places. The Comfort Digisystem range of wireless microphones and receivers can be used with hearing aids as well as with cochlear implants.

"We introduced Comfort Digisystem in Europe in 2008 and the response from the market has been fantastic. Now we are launching our unique range of digital ALDs in North America and we are proud to realize the vision of crystal clear sound reproduction and outstanding dynamic range," says Inger Rydin, CEO Comfort Audio Group.

The backbone of Comfort Digisystem is SecureStream Technology (SST), a patented digital radio technology specially designed for ALDs.

SecureStream Technology ensures that sound is transmitted without a time lag and protects the products against eavesdropping. It enables a unique digital radio transmission, which features an outstanding dynamic range and enables advanced audio processing.
