Vail, CO: The Colorado Academy of Audiology (CAA) will hold its 20th Annual Convention September 29-October 1, 2011 at the beautiful Vail Marriott Resort and Spa. Always progressive, Colorado was the first state in the country to organize an academy of audiology twenty years ago. To commemorate the occasion, 2011 convention chairperson Gene McHugh EdD (who chaired the very first meeting in 1991) is bringing back the original Board of Directors from across the country including the first CAA President, Dr. Gus Mueller. First board secretary, Dr. Jenny Weber will present 20 years of CAA. And, opening night, Jerry Northern, PhD and Gus Mueller, PhD will host the "Colorado" Trivia Bowl. Continuing Education: Seventeen (17) hours of continuing education units will be available through AAA with 7 hours eligible toward Tier 1 ABA credit. Featured speakers include Jay Hall, PhD;Gus Mueller, PhD;Jerry Northern, PhD;Dave Smriga, MA Alison Grimes, AuD;and Kevin St. Clergy, MS.
