The Cleveland Clinic will be holding our 7th biennial Audiology Symposium on August 1-2, 2008 at the InterContinental Hotel and Conference Center located on the Cleveland Clinic campus in Cleveland, Ohio.
The conference is titled, "Innovations in Hearing: The Aging Patent" and will feature some of the most respected names in the area of geriatrics including, Robert Frisina, Ph.D., Patricia Kricos, Ph.D. Devin McCaslin, Ph.D., M. Kathleen Pichora-Fuller, Ph.D., and Robert Binstock, Ph.D, among others.
In addition, Michael Roizen, M.D, (a regular on the Oprah show) will be giving a talk on wellness and aging.
This year we would like to extend an invitation for free registration to the conference (a $250 value) to full-time students. Please see the attached PDF conference brochure for more details.
We are really excited about this year's conference and hope that students will be able to take advantage of the free registration. We would also be able to provide you with a list of nearby hotel options that would be less expense that the room rates at the InterContinental Hotel.
In addition to the conference, there are a number of fun things to do in Cleveland such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland Indians baseball, and Lake Erie. We look forward to hearing from you!
Best regards,
Craig Newman, Ph.D.
