Do you know which state is known as the "Land of Milk and Honey" or which is the only state that grows coffee? Students, ages 9-12, are invited to pack their bags, grab a camera, and bring their imagination to Celebrate America, Clarke's 23rd annual Summer Adventure from July 10-22.
The two-week auditory/oral program for students who are deaf and hard-of-hearing, will explore the United States through hands on activities and fun-filled field trips! Located in western Massachusetts, CLARKE will start the imaginary trip in Massachusetts, where our country began, and explore many of the 49 other states. Join us for days filled with games, activities, crafts, sports and computers!
Experienced teachers of the deaf help students enhance their listening, communication, and social skills in a safe and fun environment. Students live in a modern, well-supervised dormitory in the heart of Clarke's historic 25-acre campus - with soccer fields, tennis courts, full-court gymnasium, exercise room, and indoor swimming pool. Inquire today! Space is limited. The cost of the two-week program is $1,550.00.
