June 21, 2007, Kitchener, ON, Canada - Unitron Hearing announced today the appointment of Chris Auty as Director of Unitron Hearing UK. Effective July 1, 2007, Chris Auty will oversee the management and operations of Unitron Hearing's sales, marketing and customer care in the UK.
In addition to working as an Audiologist at the Leeds General Infirmary, England, Chris brings over eleven years of international hearing healthcare experience to Unitron Hearing. He has held significant roles in sales and marketing, at both the retail and manufacturer level, in Canada and in the UK, with a focus on new business development.
After working as Regional Sales Manager for a well-known hearing aid distributor in the UK, Chris relocated to Canada in 2003 where he has held several roles with prominent hearing manufacturers including New Business Development Manager, National Sales Manager and Director of Marketing. He has a proven track record of building strong customer support programs and looks forward to bringing this experience to Unitron Hearing.
