WARRENVILLE, IL - Phonak is pleased to announce the appointment of Cathy Henderson Jones to President of Phonak USA, responsible for production, distribution and marketing in the United States. Cathy holds an M.S. in Audiology and has over 18 years of industry experience. Throughout her career she has held various senior positions in the industry, one as Director of Training and then as Managing Director of a west coast facility, before accepting a position as Director of Education and Customer Relations at Phonak.
During the past several years, Phonak has grown to be one of the leading hearing instrument manufacturers in the United States. Under Cathy's leadership, Phonak plans to maintain its position in the market while striving to focus on and continuously improve its customer satisfaction. Cathy's front line experience with the hearing professional should lead to a growing corporate awareness of what is truly needed not only by the end consumer, but also by the hearing health professional serving this audience. Cathy's dream, as she states it, is to not necessarily be part of the biggest, but to be a contributor to the best. Her career path has always been driven by customer satisfaction. "My vision is to put the focus where it belongs - on the customer," says Jones.
Cathy succeeds Michael Jones as President of Phonak USA. Michael was recently promoted to President and CEO of Unitron Hearing's worldwide business.
