The CAA Nominating Committee requests your input to fill four vacancies on the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA). All positions are for four-year terms beginning in January 2010. Please share this information with colleagues and encourage them to apply.
The Nominating Committee is soliciting nominations to fill:
- 1 Academic Position in Audiology
- 1 Academic Position in Speech-Language Pathology
- 1 Practitioner Position in Audiology
- 1 Practitioner Position in Speech-Language Pathology
If you would like to nominate any individuals for the CAA, including yourself, please complete and return the nomination form(s) by fax, email, or surface mail by June 1, 2009 to:

Forms are available on the ASHA web site at www.asha.org/about/credentialing/accreditation/caa_noms.htm From the nominations received, the Nominating Committee will prepare a slate of candidates, consisting of at least two individuals for each position. Ballots for the academic positions will be forwarded to all CAA-accredited programs for voting. The slate of nominees for the practitioner positions will be forwarded to ASHA's Board of Directors for appointment.
