Lafayette, IN - Rebecca Braun is $1000 closer to earning her AuD degree at the University of Florida due to winning the scholarship from the Audiology Foundation of America and Vivosonic in June 2005. Braun works as an Audiologist in Omaha, NE, in a practice with three ENT physicians and is a 2003 graduate of University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
She is earning her AuD degree because it brings the profession up to another level and helps with respect from colleagues and patients. "I want to be able to provide my patients with the best care possible. This distance education degree will help me, the profession and my patients," said Braun.
Vivosonic is offering AuD students and recent graduates a special deal to receive a laptop computer, if they purchase Vivosonic's new "Integrity" before the end of 2005. For details, or to find an AuD colleague for a referral, see the AFA website www.audfound.org.
