CHICAGO, April, 2004 — Beltone Electronics Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of Ted Thompson as the Director of Response Marketing.
Ted brings over 15 years of marketing experience with blue chip companies across retail, healthcare and manufacturing segments. Formerly a senior vice president with Foote Cone & Belding in Chicago, Ted led the integrated agency practice for long-time client John Deere, and served as strategic leader for direct marketing assignments, including Archer Daniels Midland, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association Plans, GE Capital and Circuit City.
"In this new role, Ted will focus on the creation of new network office traffic programs, refinement of Beltone's marketing database and enhancement of Beltone's proprietary direct marketing program," said Barb VanSomeren, vice president of marketing.
Ted received his Bachelor's degree in marketing from Western Illinois and LaSalle Universities. He is a long time member of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing (CADM). He has served on committees for both associations and has been guest speaker at national and international conferences on topics that include marketing element integration and the importance of branding in a successful direct marketing practice.
