Company Honors Distinguished Hearing Care Practitioners
Orlando, Florida, March 2007— Each year hearing care practitioners from around the world gather at Beltone's Annual Meeting to share ideas, participate in educational seminars on new technologies, and learn about the company's newest digital products and services.
Beltone held its 2007 Annual Meeting at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, from March 1st -3rd. The annual meeting, themed - "The Journey...Good to Great," was attended by more than 800 members of the Beltone network, including 106 international guests from 18 countries.
Todd Murray, President, Beltone USA, congratulated all of the company's network members for their remarkable achievements. Many distinguished dispensers were recognized for their efforts. Beltone presented its most prestigious award, the President's Cup, to Michael Andreozzi of Warwick, Rhode Island, for his exceptional patient care, community involvement and professional business practices.
In addition, Georgean Barden of East Pointe, MI, received Beltone's 2006 Cornerstone Award. First awarded in 2002, the Cornerstone Award recognizes individuals that have exemplified strong leadership qualities within the Beltone network and in their community. . Beltone also presented performance awards to other top practitioners from its offices internationally and throughout the U.S.
Beltone announced the release of the new Super-Power digital EZT P93 behind-the-ear instrument. Patients with severe hearing loss now have a digital BTE option for addressing their hearing loss. The EZT P93 is a non-programmable digital instrument with 4 trimmers, 4-channels, feedback management, and an optional noise reduction program. The meeting also offered attendees the opportunity to attend a variety of educational seminars - both for business owners and hearing care practitioners.
