Dorchester, Canada – May 8, 2015. Audioscan has today announced its new workshop content that directly addresses the issues facing today’s fitting professionals. The carefully designed content provides practical tools and hands‐on training that attendees can apply immediately to strengthen their competitive position and improve long‐term patient outcomes.

The CEU workshop schedule for 2015 features dates throughout the continental US. The workshops will be conducted by well‐known industry professionals and Audioscan educators: Dave Smriga, M.A., Senior Audiology Consultant for Audioscan and John Pumford, Au.D., Director of Audiology and Education for Audioscan.

John Pumford stated “As the education team set about crafting this new course we took a hard look at the changing landscape of hearing healthcare. You have rapidly evolving hearing instrument technologies, increasing competitive pressures, and ever‐more savvy patients. We asked ourselves, ‘how does one succeed in this environment?’ The workshop content was developed in large part to help answer that question. We are proud and eager to begin sharing tools and techniques that can help fitting professionals improve patient outcomes and enhance their clinical success.”

Through its AAA and IHS approved CEU workshops, Audioscan has provided valuable education to thousands of fitting professionals over the last 15 years. Audioscan workshops locations and dates are listed at www.audioscan.com/workshops
