Pittsburgh, July 17, 2008—Audiology educators will gather on June 11-13, 2009 for the third biennial audiology teaching conference at the University of Pittsburgh. This year's focus will address the art and science of teaching Audiology Practice Management.
The goal of "The Art and Science of Teaching Audiology Practice Management," chaired by Catherine Palmer, PhD, is to provide audiology faculty and clinical instructors an opportunity to discuss best practices in teaching practice management. Conference faculty will be nationally recognized educators who will share examples of course handouts, reference lists, take-home assignments, lab exercises, exams, and more. Break-out sessions and poster sessions will give participants an opportunity to share teaching ideas with colleagues. Participants will take home a binder/CD of conference materials and contact information to facilitate ongoing interaction about teaching interests.
