Schaumburg, IL - June 2014 Audiology Systems, a full-service, U.S. distributor of GN Otometrics solutions such as AURICAL®, MADSEN® and ICS®, as well as other leading audiology and vestibular equipment, announced today they will once again offer the renowned VNG/ENG course, featuring balance expert Kamran Barin, Ph.D., at the Allerton Hotel in Chicago, Illinois October 13, 14, 15. Dr. Barin, a preeminent expert in balance disorders, will facilitate the 3-day information-intensive course designed to provide practical information necessary to make the VNG/ENG test an effective part of the diagnostic process.

VNG/ENG course

“In this course, we strive to cover the fundamentals of vestibular testing and bring all the participants up to date on the latest findings, theory and clinical best practices,” says Kamran Barin, Ph.D. and Assistant Professor Emeritus in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Department of Speech and Hearing Science, at Ohio State University. “More importantly, however, is that we give participants the practical knowledge – so they can return to their clinics with a better understanding of VNG/ENG testing and how to implement it successfully with their own patients and clients.”

Dr. Barin has been serving as an educational speaker on balance disorders, in conjunction with Audiology Systems and GN Otometrics, for more than 12 years. This year he will again be facilitating a 3-day intensive course in VNG/ENG in October in Chicago. For more information about the VNG/ENG course and accommodations in Chicago, go to www.audiologysystems.com/vngcourse.
