Head Impulse Seminar series

After a successful launch in 2013, Audiology Systems continues to offer Head Impulse Seminar series in partnership with Otometrics. “We are committed to taking customer care to a new level by offering this valuable educational series for the second year,” said Kathleen Hill, Au.D, Audiology Education Manager at Otometrics. She adds, “The fact that we had to add more dates and cities is not only a testament to our reputation for being the industry leader in continuing education, it also shows that there is a need for continuing education in the area of vestibular assessment. We are pleased to be able to give hearing care professionals more opportunities to learn about the latest developments and improve their skills in assessing all six semi circular canals.”  The featured speakers conducting the seminars are well-respected industry thought leaders: Kamran Barin, Ph.D.; Jorge Kattah, M.D.; Kristen Janky, Ph.D. and Marco Jurado, Au.D.

The course is designed to provide clinicians with the latest tools and techniques in vestibular testing. It will discuss the evaluation of all five end organs (semicircular canals, saccule and utricle) of the vestibular system and address why this information assists practitioners in diagnosis, treatment and measurement of treatment effectiveness. The attendees of this course will experience the groundbreaking technology behind the ICS Impulse video head impulse testing (vHIT) solution.

Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. The Head Impulse Seminar series is recognized for 4 hours of continuing education units (CEUs) by the American Academy of Audiology. For more information about the course and how to register, visit:  www.audiologysystems.com/vhitcourse or call the Audiology Systems customer care hotline:  855.283.7978

For those desiring more in-depth training, clinicians can also join the Barin Course, an information-intensive VNG/ENG course that is designed to provide practical information necessary to make the VNG/ENG test an effective part of the diagnostic process.
