Brewer joins Audiology Systems, company strengthens midwest service team.
Schaumburg, IL. - November 20, 2012 – Audiology Systems Inc., a national partnership of industry professionals, audiologists and local audiology and vestibular instrument experts, and the exclusive distributor for GN Otometrics (MADSEN, AURICAL, ICS), Intelligent Hearing Systems and Noise Barriers in more than half of the US, announced today that it has expanded its technical service team in the midwest with the addition of Dave Brewer, who was brought onboard as a service technician. Brewer will report directly to Michel Jurgens, general manager of Audiology Systems, and work closely with the sales team in the region.
Brewer’s territory will include Wisconsin, where he will work closely with Eileen Shepheard -- the sales manager for that state. He will also cover northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana, in conjunction with that region’s sales manager, Marc Lichtman. His responsibilities will include traditional hardware and software services, including on-site assistance, hardware repairs and calibration.
“Dave is an experienced technician with many years in the field,” said Jurgens. “His strong work ethic and commitment to excellence make him a worthy addition to an already strong midwest-based team.”
Brewer began his career in the United States Navy, where he was a data systems technician and electronics technician who specialized in calibration and maintenance of acoustic analyzing systems. He has worked in the hearing industry since 2003 and has held the positions of service director and field technician with an instrumentation distributor, as well as a manufacturer’s technical representative and manufacturing engineer. Brewer holds a bachelor of science degree from Excelsior College. He also has completed coursework in acoustics at the graduate program of acoustics at Penn State University.
