Will Jones, Au.D., Joins Company as Regional Sales Manager in the Carolinas.
Schaumburg, IL., January 16, 2013 – Audiology Systems Inc., a national partnership of industry professionals, audiologists and local audiology and vestibular instrument experts, announced today that it has added Will Jones, Au.D., to its expanding sales organization. Jones joins as a regional sales manager with oversight of sales and service throughout North and South Carolina. He will report directly to Michel Jurgens, general manager of Audiology Systems.
“Will is an excellent addition to the Audiology Systems sales team,” said Jurgens. “His substantial experience in our industry, and in the Carolinas, combined with his skills as a first-rate audiologist, made him a perfect candidate for this new position. He will hit the ground running given his familiarity with his territory and his customers. He knows who they are and what they need and will be able to work with them on a more consultative level than ever before.”
Jones joined Audiology Systems from Widex USA/Widex Hearing Aid Company, a worldwide hearing aid manufacturer. In his 20 years with the company, Jones was a sales and training representative for a nine-state region, and most recently focused on North and South Carolina. His range of responsibilities included providing product training, marketing support, educational seminars and, as a practicing audiologist, patient fitting assistance, in addition to product sales and staff management. His sales and management experience is extensive and, prior to his tenure at Widex, Jones held positions of increasing responsibility at Cadwell Laboratories, Inc., Siemens and SEHAS, where he provided both sales and audiology support. Jones also was president and owner of a private audiology practice, Aim Hearing, in Greensboro, North Carolina for 15 years.
Jones earned his doctor of audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences and his master of education in audiology from the University of Virginia. He also holds a bachelors degree in speech communications and theater arts from Wake Forest University. He is a licensed audiologist in North Carolina.
