Audiology Systems Inc. Announces National Sales Operation

Brown and Switalski Join Company.

Schaumburg, ILL., September 5, 2012 - Audiology Systems Inc., a national partnership of industry professionals, audiologists and local audiology and vestibular instrument experts, announced today it has formed a national sales operation and made two key staff appointments. Lance Brown and Tom Switalski both have joined the organization as sales operations managers;Brown will have the additional responsibilities of product integration and government liaison. Both Brown and Switalski will provide national sales and professional service expertise to support Audiology Systems' sales managers within their regions, as well as in territories where the company does not presently have on-site representation, thus establishing a network of expert national coverage. The national sales operation will be overseen by Michel Jurgens, general manager of Audiology Systems.

"We couldn't have put the national sales responsibilities for Audiology Systems in more capable hands," said Jurgens. "Between them, Lance and Tom have decades of experience in every aspect of hearing and vestibular products, from sales and service through training and troubleshooting. They are excellent additions to the Audiology Systems team."

Brown steps into his position at Audiology Systems from GN Otometrics, where as product integration manager and government liaison, he focused on working closely with distributors on product networking opportunities in their regions. Prior to this position, Brown served as a sales operations manager at Otometrics, where he developed integrated product solutions. Brown joined Otometrics after a 12-year tenure with National Association of Equipment Distributors (NASED) where he served as President from 2005-2009, and led a national organization dedicated to maintaining the highest standards for hearing testing equipment. In addition, Brown was a regional sales manager at a national distribution company for close to twenty years. Brown attended The University of Memphis and studied electronics and avionics in the United States Air Force.

Switalski is a 30-year veteran in audiology and vestibular equipment sales and service. Before joining the Audiology Systems team, he was a sales operations manager at Otometrics where he was involved in the establishment of the company's national distribution strategy along with Brown and Jurgens. Additionally, he was responsible for distributor training in technical services and sales strategies, as well as product education. He was also involved in business development projects with the Veterans Administration, as well as hospital- and university-based audiology clinics in the state of Michigan and northern Ohio.
