Company expands OAE portfolio with the addition of Sentiero audiological devices.
Schaumburg, IL - February 2015 - Audiology Systems, a full-service, U.S. distributor of leading audiology and vestibular equipment, recently announced that the Sentiero product line by PATH Medical Solutions is now available for sale in the United States. “We are pleased to have signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Audiology Systems to distribute and promote PATH Medical Solutions in the United States. PATH Medical Solutions is a Germany-based developer and manufacturer of innovative instrumentation for screening and diagnostic audiology. The audiological devices are available as handheld or desktop versions – all of which are designed to be portable and lightweight. They feature a customizable, modular configuration to provide maximum flexibility for the user. All devices include a large 1000-test database, Windows-compatibility through the MIRA PC software program, and an intuitive user interface with an easy-to-use touchscreen.
The Sentiero Desktop is the first device to integrate an audiometer, OAE, and tympanometer – with flexible and configurable tympanometry and acoustic reflex options.
The Sentiero handheld devices – Sentiero Screener, Sentiero Diagnostic and Sentiero Diagnostic Plus – are available in several configurations. Test modules can include pure tone audiometry, binaural OAE, multichannel DPOAE (testing two frequencies simultaneously), FMDPOAE™ (frequency modulated DPOAE), high resolution DPOAE measurements, and DPOAE threshold.
