National Network of Hearing Healthcare Professionals Looks Ahead to Transformative Future

Eden Prairie, Minnesota (October 22, 2020) – This week, Audibel celebrates 20 years of helping people live better lives through better hearing. The milestone was observed yesterday during a virtual event, during which network members shared stories of success, challenges they’ve overcome and visions for the future. Keynote speakers included Starkey Owner and Chairman Bill AustinPresident and CEO Brandon SawalichChief Retail Officer Jeff GeigelChief Technology Officer Achin Bhowmik, Ph.D.Chief Innovation Officer Dave Fabry, Ph.D.Chief Marketing Officer Chris McCormick and Audibel Managing Director Michael Tease.

On October 19, 2000, the first unofficial meeting was held, establishing the Audibel brand in the pursuit of hearing excellence. Over the next 20 years, it grew from a fledgling organization to a national network committed to providing the very best in better hearing. Now, this group of dedicated professionals is preparing to revolutionize the next generation of hearing health care through focused practice development tools and programs for an unparalleled experience in the age of AI and the digital patient. 

“The best is yet to come, because the science has never been this good,” said Austin. “Over the next 20 years, more people than ever will need our help overcoming their hearing loss. Combined with the technological breakthroughs that are on the horizon, we will do better than we’ve ever done before.”
