Florida Graduate Selected To Be Tenure Track Associate Professor At University of Kentucky
LOUISVILLE, KY -- Just two months after receiving her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the University of Florida, Dr. Joilyn Bush, a NAFDA Alumni member, has been selected from a pool of candidates to head the Audiology Department at Kentucky.
This selection by the Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology at the University's School of Medicine, makes a strong statement about the Au.D. Not only will Dr. Bush direct the clinical operations at the school, as a tenure track associate professor she will also have the responsibilities of Instruction/Teaching activities, Service activities, Research activities, and Administrative and Professional Development Activities.
'This is just outstanding' said AAA President, Robert Glaser. 'It's only the beginning.' He added, referring to the immediate impact the Au.D. is having on Audiology.
Dr. Bush will be attending NAFDA 2000 in Washington, D.C. in August.
