“Sarah personifies the Audiology Systems commitment to professionalism, as her lengthy career in healthcare and expertise in audiology and vestibular services attest,” said Jurgens.  “Coming from a clinical environment, Sarah’s experience uniquely qualifies her to more deeply understand our customers and relate to their needs.  Her experience enables her to collaborate and consult with our customers in a more intuitive way and provide them with smart, real-world solutions.”

Ascher joined Audiology Systems from Carondelet Health Network, southern Arizona’s leading healthcare network.  In her almost 25 years with that organization, Ascher held a series of positions of increasing responsibility, the most recent being supervision and clinical coordination and daily operations for three outpatient hospital programs: audiology, balance/vestibular services and neurorehabilitation.  Ascher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in speech and hearing sciences and a Master of Science degree in audiology from the University of Arizona, in 1983 and 1985 respectively.

“Audiology Systems has decided to rethink how audiology and vestibular solutions are delivered to healthcare professionals, and I am looking forward to be part of a company that is dedicated to bring much needed innovation to today’s healthcare environment,” said Ascher.  “The company is completely committed to raising the bar on customer service and creating a truly superior experience for its clients.  I am very excited to bring my years of clinical and daily operations experience to this unique, forward-thinking company.”

Active in the professional community, Ascher has served on a variety of committees with organizations like the American Academy of Audiology and the Arizona Department of Health “Never Too Young” Advisory Board for Early Identification of Hearing Loss.  Ascher has also received multiple honors including the 2009 University of Arizona Department of Speech-language and Hearing Distinguished Alumnus Award, among others.
