SOMERSET, NJ November 13 -- Oticon, Inc. has appointed Andrea Maeder as Human Resource Director. In her new role, Ms. Maeder will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies and programs that will enhance the Oticon’s organizational performance while supporting the company’s People First culture, values and mission. She succeeds former HR Director, Maureen Alcino, who retired following 24 years of service with Oticon, Inc.
Ms. Maeder, who holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University, has more than a decade of experience in human resources. Prior to joining Oticon, Inc., she held a variety of US and Global HR positions with Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporations and most recently, served as HR Director for Advanced Health Media and for Veeco Instruments, Inc.
