PAUL PESSIS is President of the North Shore Audio-Vestibular Lab in Highland Park and Long Grove, IL. Following his term as President-Elect, Pessis will assume the office of President on July 1, 2006 for a one-year term.

The following three nominees were elected to The Academy Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2005 and running through June 30, 2007.
Deb Abel is past owner of Alliance Audiology and has relocated to Northern Arizona Speech & Hearing Center in Sedona, AZ.Additionally, in accordance with the Academy's By Laws, Karen Jacobs was appointed to fill the un-expired term of two years created by Paul Pessis' election to President-Elect. Jacobs is the owner of AVA Hearing Center, Inc, Grand Rapids, MI.
Carmen Brewer is the Chief, Audiology hearing Section, NIH in Bethesda, MD.
Therese Walden is the Chief, Audiology Clinic, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC.
