American Academy of Audiology and AudiologyOnline Forge New Continuing Education Partnership

Share:

AudiologyOnline and the American Academy of Audiology have announced a new partnership for continuing education (CE) offerings.

Effective January 2025, AudiologyOnline will become the Academy’s exclusive provider of online web seminars for continuing education credits. The Academy will move select CE web seminars, currently hosted on their eAudiology platform, to AudiologyOnline.

Additionally, the Academy will offer monthly CE courses in partnership with AudiologyOnline. This collaboration will provide audiologists with unparalleled access to cutting-edge, evidence-based content.

Drawing from the Academy's network of leading experts, these high-quality, research-driven courses will spotlight best practices in audiology while exploring emerging trends and innovative approaches in the field.

“Partnering with AudiologyOnline offers an ideal way to meet the continuing education needs of audiologists," said Academy Executive Director Patrick Gallagher. "For over 25 years, AudiologyOnline has provided outstanding online learning resources for hearing professionals, and their extensive course offerings will allow Academy members to deepen their knowledge. The Academy is committed to enhancing the recognition of audiology as an independent clinical profession, and working with AudiologyOnline is an exciting opportunity to support audiologists in their professional development.”

Current AudiologyOnline subscribers can access Academy content with their AudiologyOnline all-access subscription beginning in January. eAudiology customers who are not already AudiologyOnline subscribers can join AudiologyOnline to access Academy content and the entire AudiologyOnline library.

"We are honored to partner with the American Academy of Audiology to provide additional continuing education and professional support for audiologists,” said Carolyn Smaka, AuD, editor in chief for Continued, the parent company of AudiologyOnline. “This partnership is a natural fit, as AudiologyOnline and the Academy both share a deep commitment to serving audiologists and advancing the audiology profession.”
