Lafayette, IN - This year's ADA Convention was definitely a "time for action" for the AFA. More than $25,000 was raised through the annual golf tournament and art auction.
This year's premier piece was a Royal Doulton Foshan vase donated by Marcon. The vase along with many other beautiful pieces of art helped make this year's auction a huge success.
Ninety golfers played at the Dunes Golf and Tennis Club set amidst a wildlife preserve with an abundance of alligators, blue herons, bald eagles and osprey.
The success of this event was due to the generous support of its sponsors, Advance for Audiologists, Esco, GN ReSound/GN Otometrics, Marcon, Midwest Hearing, Omni, Oticon, Siemens, Sonic Innovations, Starkey, and Unitron.
Proceeds from these fun-filled events will to be used to promote the transition of audiology to a doctoring profession.
AFA golf sponsor GN ReSound/GN Otometrics offered $10,000 prize at hole-in-one contest.
