West Lafayette, IN-- Directors of the AFA met in Philadelphia January 27-29th to determine their long range strategy to continue to promote the transformation of audiology to a doctoring profession. ADA's president, Jim McDonald, and president-elect, Bob Maning, attended, along with AFA Directors and advisory committee members. Glenn Tecker, of Tecker Consultants facilitated the meeting.
Careful analysis resulted in plans for future years. The AFA remains interested in joining forces with other audiology organizations having similar goals for the profession's development.
