AFA Honors Founding Director

West Lafayette, IN - Dr. George Osborne, Dean of the PCO School of Audiology, was honored by the Audiology Foundation of America at an open house held at PCO during the 2002 American Academy of Audiology Annual Convention. Dr. Osborne is a charter member of the AFA's Board of Directors and has served the organization in many capacities. Most recently he served as Chair of the Board of Directors (1999-2001) and has also served as treasurer as well having chaired numerous committees. He is currently a member of the AFA's Advisory Committee.
According to AFA Director Veronica Heide, AuD, who presented Dr. Osborne with a plaque, "George Osborne's commitment to making audiology a true doctoring profession has been unrelenting." Susan Paarlberg, AFA Executive Director stated, "The AFA is very grateful for Dr. Osborne's leadership and dedication and for the outstanding quality of his contributions and support of the AFA and the profession of audiology."
