West Lafayette, IN - Golfer alert! The Audiology Foundation of America (AFA) will have a charity golf tournament during the ADA convention, this year in San Diego. Immediately preceding play, a golf clinic will be held. A best-ball scramble allows everyone, regardless of experience or level of play to have a great time. The shotgun start will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday afternoon October 27th.
This year's tournament will be held at the River Walk Golf Club. This legendary golf course features undulating fairways, waterfalls and well-protected bent grass greens. It was designed by renowned golf course designers, Ted Robinson and Ted Robinson, Jr. The San Diego River or one of the four new lakes comes into play on 13 of the 27 holes. We are looking forward to manufacturers' support with contests and prizes at each hole.
Now is the time to call your friends and plan to play! Look for the participant forms in the ADA Convention Registration Packet. The AFA and the Au.D. movement benefit from your participation. Plan to come and enjoy the fun!
