Lafayette, IN - The Audiology Foundation of America (AFA) is proud to announce the winners of its Outstanding Au.D. Student Scholarships for the 2005-2006 academic years. Second year Au.D. students, Jill C. Bernstein and Laura Demetree from The University at Buffalo and the University of Florida, respectively, will each receive a $4500 scholarship. Third year Au.D. student winners, Sarah A. Sydlowski, University of Louisville and Amy Winston, Rush University, will also receive $4500 each for the upcoming academic years.
The Outstanding Au.D. Student Scholarships were established to recognize and support the "best and brightest" Au.D. students. Scholarship winners will be honored at events held at their universities.
These scholarships are funded by a grant from the Oticon Foundation also known as the William Demant and Wife Ida Emilie Foundation.
