West Lafayette, IN - The Audiology Foundation of America proudly announces the winners of the 2002 Outstanding AuD Student Award. Amanda Blue and Gretchen Zehring, third year students at University of Texas-Dallas and Ball State University, respectively, will each receive a $4500 scholarship for the 2002-2003 academic year.
The Outstanding AuD Student Award is funded by a grant from the Oticon Foundation, also known as the William Demant and Wife Ida Emilie Foundation. The award was established to recognize and support the "best of the best" AuD students.
The awardees will be honored at a luncheon held at their universities. According to AFA Executive Director Susan Paarlberg, "These students represent the future of the audiology profession and the AFA is very pleased to support them during their critical professional training."
