Lafayette, IN - Christine Lomey Ulinski, Au.D. was recently elected to serve on the Audiology Foundation of America's (AFA) Board of Directors. Directors make a major commitment to the profession by volunteering their time and efforts, as well as expenses to attend meetings.
Dr. Ulinski, who begins her term as a Director in January 2004, received her undergraduate and Master's degrees from Purdue University. She was one of the first Au.D. graduates from Ball State University in 1998. Since graduating she has worked in a variety of clinical settings from the hospital environment to private practice at Hammond Clinic, Sonus, Weiss Memorial Hospital, and currently at Hines VA Hospital.
Dr. Ulinkski is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and Academy of Dispensing Audiologists. She is a member of Illinois Academy of Audiology and has served on ILAA's program and auction committees, as well as the Indiana Speech Language Hearing Association's Audiology committee.
Appreciative of the opportunities opened to her by her Au.D., Dr. Ulinski looks forward to contributing to the evolution of Audiology to a truly autonomous profession.
