West Lafayette, IN -Two major charity events at the ADA Convention will help fund AFA's efforts to promote the AuD transition.
Award Winning Artists Featured at Art Auction
Sculptures, paintings, carvings and other unique items will be offered at the AFA's fifth annual art auction on Thursday, October 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A painting by award winning artist Nancy Seamons Crookston will be featured again this year. The piece entitled, "After Picking Apples", is from her Coronado Gallery. Crookston was recently inducted as a master signature member of the Oil Painters of America.
A quilt made by artist Anita J. Krug will also be auctioned. Krug's award winning quilts and wearable art have traveled to shows throughout the United States, as well as Japan and Australia. "Landscapes", the wall quilt offered at this year's auction represents the season, vegetation and color changes as we travel from place to place.
Also featured is a cast-metal sculpture, "Jonah in the Fish", by renowned Ohio artist, Don Drumm. In addition to the works of these award-winning artists, there will be many other beautiful objets d'art offered at the auction.
A cocktail party and AAC's Silent Auction will also be part of this exciting event.
Golfer Alert!
Participants in this year's golf tournament will play at Landmark Golf Club, home of The Skins Game, a PGA tour event on Friday, October 11th at 1:00 p.m. Landmark is one the premier courses of the Palm Springs Desert Resorts area. The unique design sets the fairways amidst rolling dunes of wildflowers and foothills of natural desert terrain offering dramatic views of the valley below.

This year's tournament will offer two hole-in-one contests.
