The American Academy of Audiology (AAA) board of directors has selected Kris English, Ph.D. to become president-elect of the academy on July 1, 2008. Dr. English will succeed Patrick Feeney, Ph.D., as president for the year starting July, 2009. AAA has also announced four new directors were elected by membership to join the board. Deborah L. Carlson, Ph.D, Lawrence M. Eng, Au.D., and Georgine Ray, Au.D. were elected for 3-year terms beginning in July, 2008. Kimberly Barry, Au.D. was elected for a 1-year term to succeed Dr. English when she becomes president-elect.
