Sound for a Young Generation
2nd European Pediatric Conference
Amsterdam, Netherlands
October 24 - 25, 2005
Building on the overwhelming success of the 1st European Conference on Pediatric Amplification Solutions, Phonak is pleased to announce the 2nd European Pediatric Conference to be held in Amsterdam from October 24-25, 2005.
Once again, Prof. Richard Seewald and Prof. Kevin Monroe have succeeded in putting together a highly attractive program covering many relevant topics, presented by a wide range of internationally renowned experts.
The practical, clinical approach of the conference allows interactions with faculty members and will enable the participants to put this new knowledge immediately into practice. In addition, the workshops offer further learning opportunities in small groups.
The conference program will include sessions on:
- Current issues in pediatric amplification (dead regions, introducing the new DSL5 and the importance of high frequency amplification)
- Auditory sequelae of Otitis Media with Effusion
- Current issues in causation of hearing loss - Genetics and Auditory Neuropathy
- Environmental considerations - Environmental Acoustics, Use of directional microphones and relationship between the environment and electroacoustic settings
- Clinician's Forum
