Learn about two unique products from Sony that fit this new class of FDA-registered, self-fitting hearing aids.

This course introduces Widex Sound Assist – an all-in-one multi-functional accessory that meets a variety of hearing aid users’ special situational listening needs.

Widex SoundRelax is the evolution of a unique and proven approach to sound therapy provided through hearing aids. This course will focus on the new comprehensive offering for hearing aid users with and without tinnitus to provide relief, support relaxation, enhance concentration, and ultimately improve well-being.

There are many opportunities today to customize and personalize a hearing healthcare plan for individuals. One huge area of innovation is Artificial Intelligence (AI), connecting the computing power of machines to the powerful listening intent of each individual. This course will explore the clinical applications of AI in hearing health.

This course will introduce the Widex AutoREM feature for use with Natus Aurical Freefit. The course will include step-by-step instruction on set up, provide quick fitting strategies in Compass GPS 4.3 software and give examples of using AutoREM for efficient and successful client fittings.

This course will review Widex MOMENT’s Bluetooth and WidexLink features that deliver connectivity options for hearing aid users. After taking this course, participants will be able to describe new pairing steps for Android phones, identify streaming control features in the MOMENT App, and list and describe current DEX Accessory options for all MOMENT users.

Learner Outcomes:
1. After this course, participants will be able to identify the Apple and Android products that are compatible with Widex MOMENT Bluetooth hearing aids.
2. After this course, participants will be able to describe the new options for pairing MOMENT to Android ASHA protocol products.
3. After this course, participants will be able to describe the streaming control features available in the MOMENT App.
4. After this course, participants will be able to describe WidexLink connectivity and to list the DEX Accessory options.

0-6 minutes: Current application of Bluetooth Connectivity in Widex MOMENT
6-14 minutes: New Android product pairing steps and review streaming controls in the MOMENT App
14-18 minutes: TV-PLAY and other WidexLink & DEX accessory options

This course will review Widex MOMENT 440/330/220/110 performance levels, highlighting how MOMENT delivers natural sound across each level. After taking this course participants will be able to match the client’s needs to the appropriate performance level and will be able to distinguish the clinical fine-tuning differences in each level.

Learning Outcomes:

1. After this course, participants will be able to describe the similarities and differences between MOMENT 440/330/220/110 performance levels.
2. After this course, participants will be able to describe the differences in performance levels as seen in Compass GPS fitting software.

0-15 Min: Widex MOMENT 440/330/220/110 – what’s the same/what’s different across performance levels
15-30 Min: Distinguishing Performance Levels by End User benefits and Fine-Tuning control in Compass GPS fitting software

This course will introduce the new My Guide feature within the MOMENT app and outline its use and benefits to both client and Hearing Care Professional. After taking this course participants will be able to navigate the My Guide feature and identify the 4 areas of educational and solution-based content.

The co-morbidities of hearing loss include social isolation and loneliness, depression, increased risk of falls, as well as cognitive decline, and related dementias. In this presentation, we will describe how digital therapeutics are changing the face of healthcare, and then present an example of how digital therapeutics may be used to treat hearing loss and its downstream effects.
