Optimizing the initial fitting to achieve the best sound quality and performance for the patient is an essential part of the hearing aid fitting process. The Inspire fitting software is designed to provide a step-by-step initial fit sequence to achieve this. This course will also review adjustments available on the Sound Manager and troubleshooting tools to customize the fitting.

Patients with unique audiometric configurations have individual and critical needs to achieve audibility and to optimize their interpretation of speech and environmental sounds. Understanding the patient’s needs, capabilities and the limitations of their hearing loss will help assist with the fitting process. Accessories and connectivity are a critical component of patient success that should be considered. This course will examine available strategies to meet the needs of individuals with unique audiometric configurations and approaches that may be appropriate to consider when fitting these patients.
