Communication breakdowns are the most common cause of medical errors, and patients with hearing loss are at an increased risk for miscommunication. Medical errors are a preventable adverse effect of care. This course will review common errors in hearing healthcare and learn how to prevent, monitor, and respond to these errors and improve our overall standard of care.
