The benefits of consistent, full-time hearing aid use are twofold: Improve communication in daily listening situations and enhance health-related outcomes. A challenge, however, is that many patients struggle with becoming independent problem-solvers when faced with challenges associated with hearing aid use. This course will demonstrate how two recent advances, Signia Assistant and Telecare, enhance patient-centered care post 60-day acquisition of hearing aids. The course will review data indicating how Signia Assistant and Telecare contribute to improved outcomes beyond the first 60 days of initial hearing aid use.

Course: #35689Level: Intermediate1 Hour
The benefits of consistent, full-time hearing aid use are twofold: Improve communication in daily listening situations and enhance health-related outcomes. This course will demonstrate how the Theory of Auditory Enablement can be used to determine which patients are most likely to benefit from a blended approach to hearing care and how device-related problems with the hearing aid that occur over the first year of use can be resolved with a blended care model. Signia AI-based tools used in the blended care process will also be discussed.
