Health concerns, social isolation, and financial instability have all contributed to fear and stress during this worldwide pandemic. Recent research on the online version of the 8-week skill building program, Mindfulness Based Tinnitus Stress Reduction (MBTSR), developed and researched by the presenter at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), is presented with results from a Covid sample. The critical role stress reduction plays in effective management of sound sensitivity disorders such as tinnitus and hyperacusis is explored.
